The Symposium for Professional Food Writers is currently engaged in a process of investigating the most effective way to serve our food writing and publishing communities.

After a five-year rest, the Symposium has emerged to a shifting economy, a changing market for food writers, numerous workshops for food writers and bloggers, new academic programs in food, and a growing world of online learning. The Founder, Executive Director, Board, and Advisors for the Symposium are brimming with ideas about ways to keep the Symposium relevant in this shifting landscape. As a result, Antonia Allegra and the Directors of SPFW have chosen to cancel the planned 2016 Symposium, moving to a time of take-action transition. Stay with us. The best is yet to come...
